SHELTER is running Special School under Deendayal Disability Rehabilitation Scheme of Department of Disability Affairs, Ministry of Social justice and Empowerment since 1995.

The CESC Bill Processing and Distribution project (Cutting, Folding, Scrooting& distribution of more than 30,000 electricity bill in bhadreswar municipality area and surroundings) by SHELTER is perhaps a pioneering venture where trainees with intellectual disabilitiy have been integrated gainfully towards mainstreaming to the maximum extent.
